- Starting in zenkutsu-dachi (front stance), moving forward, chudan oizuki (mid level stomach lunge punch).
- Starting in zenkutsu-dachi (front stance), moving backward, jyodan ageuke (upper level/face forearm block).
- Starting in zenkutsu-dachi (front stance), moving forward, chudan soto udeuke (mid level outside forearm block).
- Starting in zenkutsu-dachi (front stance), moving backward into kokutsu-dachi (back stance), chudan shutouke (middle level knife-hand block).
- Starting in zenkutsu-dachi (front stance), moving forward, chudan mae-geri (middle level front kick).
- Starting in kiba-dachi (horse stance), moving sideways and cross leg over, chudan yoko keage (middle level side snap kick), and move into kiba-dachi. Execute right and left sides.
