Santa Maria Valley Japan Karate Association is a non-profit organization that meets for the purpose of promoting physical and mental well being, individual and team development through the discipline and teaching of shotokan karate.  You are welcome to use the SMVJKA website for Shotokan Karate reference material.  When you use this site you agree to hold harmless SMVJKA.  We value your privacy.  You may be assured that this site does not collect any information about its’ visitors, and does not contact in any way any visitors to the site.  We abhor spam and refuse to participate in this type of naughty behavior, and we expect the same from you. 

This is a family safe neighborhood.  This site is intended for everyone in a friendly encouraging way, and intends to remain so.  You may link your site to SMVJKA if your principals are the same.  You may have noticed a bit of ad sponsorship.  The ads “read” the site for appropriate content, so we don’t have much control over what is displayed.  (This offsets our operation costs.)  If you happen to notice an ad that would not be appropriate for kids, please leave a comment in the comment box so we can screen that URL out!  We play nice and we expect our internet friends to play nice, too.  If you operate a cheater scraper blog don’t link here!!!!  The cool stuff we write is not yours to steal!  If your site would not be appropriate for children and teens and really old people, don’t link!!  We have black belts and we know where you live!  (Just kidding, nobodoy ever reads the privacy page anyway!)  Seriously, though, if ya like us and want to exchange links that’s cool, just find a post with a comment box and drop us a line.  Put up a link on your site, and if we visit and see the link we’ll link back!  We’d give you our email address but those horrific email harvesting robots are truly evil!!!  Down with email address theft!!!  Shame on you, ruthless email robot harvesting bullies!  Editorial comment aside, we don’t leave our email in public places, we just don’t like the junk mail we get!  So root around and find a comment box.  If you don’t want your comment published, that’s cool, if you want to be contacted (or not) that’s cool too, just tell us your preferences!   Thanks!
